Labor Analytics Database

The Labor Analytics Group (LAG) operates an exclusive labor database which contains primary labor market research and business intelligence for over 6,000 markets. LAG News Articles
Every day, news articles related to particular industries and markets are collected and stored in the LAG Database. These articles enable the team to keep abreast of openings, closings, expansions, and layoff activities of all corporate operations in North America, Central America and Southeast Asia. As LAG analyzes industry trends across the nation and around the world, these articles further explain a community's business climate and available skill sets. News articles are the fundamental anecdotal evidence gathered during the primary research portion of LAG's site selection process.

Interview Process
LAG'S consultants and analysts routinely conduct interviews with government officials, employment agency representatives and employers around the country. When interacting with economic development officials, LAG inquires about the region's major employers and probe for the newest information. Interviews with employment agencies are specific in scope, meant to ferret out the region's compelling and negative attributes. LAG analysts are skilled in deciphering which information is most pertinent for the relevant project. By talking directly to employers, LAG learns in great detail their challenges and successes when operating in a specific target market.
